From the very beginning, Le Negresco has pursued a path of independence, guided by a bold vision and a profound love of art, culture, and excellence. It stands out as a beacon of creativity and ambition. This spirit of artistic freedom finds particular expression in the Mesnage-Augier-Negresco Endowment Fund.

FDMAN

Following the wishes of Madame Augier, proprietor of the hotel from 1957 to 2019, Le Negresco now belongs to FDMAN, the Fonds de Dotation Mesnage-Augier-Negresco, which will eventually become a foundation.

Established in 2009 by Mrs Augier, the FDMAN aims to help people in need, improve the living conditions of physically disabled individuals, combat animal cruelty and actively promote the preservation of French culture. The FDMAN identifies, sponsors and organises charity, artistic and campaigning activities and events directly aligned with its mission.

The Jeanne Augier Collection

At the Hotel, Step Into A World of Art. From 1957 to 2019, Jeanne Augier presided over Le Negresco with vision and passion, transforming the Belle Époque palace into a living museum. A devoted collector, she curated an extraordinary ensemble of works spanning the 17th to the 20th centuries. Two major collections bear her signature: a gallery of classical portraits and sculptures, as well as a selection of modern art reflecting her enduring support for contemporary artists. Her taste is also evident in the recreation of a 17th century salon, which now houses Le Versailles bar. Thanks to her lifelong commitment, Le Negresco remains a place where art and history converge in elegant harmony.
