Dear friends,

In the last edition of our magazine Madame, I spoke about the successive developments of our jewel, Le Negresco. Last year, we inaugurated our superb, immersive N Le Spa, which has elegantly turned all the codes of well-being into a veritable art form. I also announced a major new project for 2025: the rebirth of Madame’s appartements into a spectacular suite.

As part of our ongoing commitment to Le Negresco’s development, we are more dedicated than ever to restoring its heritage and developing it, ensuring it remains firmly anchored in the present and future of the luxury hospitality, with the same exemplary signature of the Art of Entertaining. Last May, the emblematic façade was unveiled in all its original splendour, and its Belle Époque statues dating from 1913 will be back in their place in October 2025.

This year’s eagerly awaited event is the unveiling of the 6th floor with the Jeanne & Paul Penthouse suite. An exceptional suite of more than 400m2 located in the mythical cupola, with a panorama of its three terraces and an infinite view of our beautiful Promenade des Anglais. The historic central lift, which has transported so many illustrious guests in its massive wood-panelled and finely gilded cabin, has also been renovated in keeping with its rare heritage.

Nice, a resort town of singular beauty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is celebrating the oceans this year by hosting the United Nations Ocean Conference. Le Negresco, with its 6,000 works of art and as a key player in France’s cultural heritage, is taking part in this international event by temporarily exhibiting new pieces on the theme of the sea, including Niki de Saint Phalle’s Yelling Man, on loan from the Niki Charitable Art Foundation, and Eddie Maniez’s glittering, almost living Octopus. The legendary Negresco, unique and timeless, rewrites its legend of tomorrow every day.

Lionel Servant,

Directeur général.
