Estelle Fleuret, Human Resources Manager at Le Negresco, believes that rigour and kindness are not opposites but mutually reinforce each other.

Originally from Dijon, Estelle turned to human resources early on, motivated by a keen interest in people and social relations. After finishing her studies in HR management, she moved to Nice, suitcase in hand, ready to take on a new professional challenge. Upon discovering a vibrant environment, she demonstrated her adaptability and determination from the very beginning.

Her first professional experiences shaped her understanding of the role. During her time at the Chamber of Commerce, she recognised the importance of clear transmission, effective communication, attentive listening, and supporting teams with thoughtful, constructive guidance. After working in various sectors, she joined the Grand Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, where she spent nearly 18 years. There, she experienced luxury hospitality in all its facets, encountering every aspect of the profession and strengthening her versatility and resilience, while refining a balance between high standards and a positive working environment for teams.

Joining Le Negresco was an obvious choice – an iconic, independent hotel where human values and service excellence are central to everything. From her very first visit, the welcoming atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and the passion of the staff reinforced her desire to help shape the maison’s history.

Working alongside Valérie Nyul, Director of Human Resources, Estelle is responsible for recruitment, contributes to training, and supports the development of the N La Plage teams. She is attentive to attracting and integrating profiles aligned with both the projects and the spirit of Le Negresco. What she seeks above all are individuals who feel a genuine attachment to the hotel, are committed to the collective endeavour, ready to invest themselves fully, and who give tangible expression to the values of the house.

Every day, she maintains clear and consistent communication, involves teams in the hotel’s activities, and recognises their initiatives. ‘My objective is for everyone to feel heard, recognised, and encouraged to give their best,’ she notes. For Estelle, team fulfilment and quality of service are inseparable.
