To say that our Banquets and Seminars Manager, Michel Chelin leads a fulfilling life would be an understatement. Originally from the Gers region and the son of a pastry chef, he was immersed in the world of gastronomy from an early age, all while pursuing his passion for volleyball. After obtaining a BTS in Sales and a Bachelor’s degree from business school, Michel chose to return to his first calling: gastronomy and catering.
A true devotee of hard work, he began his career in a two-star MICHELIN restaurant before holding a variety of positions within the hotel sector, encompassing restaurant and brasserie management, operations direction, and beverage service. Michel joined Le Negresco four years ago, bringing with him a strong sense of leadership and the rigour essential to his responsibilities. His strength lies in his enduring passion for the profession, a vibrant and exacting world that has inspired him for over 30 years.
