A season in the concierge department in 2022 deepened his understanding of the metier and confirmed his aspiration. After a rewarding period alongside the executive assistants, Rémi resolved to focus on his core passions: delivering personalised service and cultivating guest relationships, which are essential qualities to the role of concierge.
Today, Rémi fully expresses his enthusiasm for sharing and ‘making people happy’. Every request becomes an opportunity to craft a unique experience, combining bespoke stays with meticulous coordination through a trusted network of partners. ‘We are the key to success before, during and after the stay. We must have an answer for every question’ he says, encapsulating the high standards and responsiveness that define his craft.
Above all, Rémi is a dedicated professional, committed to his colleagues, his metier and the success of the hotel. This devotion earned him the honour of being appointed by the Management Committee as ambassador for Excellence, Commitment, Teamwork, Accountability, and Dialogue. As a member of the CSE, he plays an active role in the life of Le Negresco.
Under the mentorship of Filipe Rodrigues, Le Negresco’s Head Concierge and Vice-President of the Côte d’Azur Clefs d’Or Association, Rémi is preparing his application for the prestigious Clefs d’Or in 2027.
His career path has also enabled him to forge an intimate bond with the soul of Le Negresco. Inspired by the legacy of Madame Augier, whose vision he deeply admires, Rémi reflects: ‘This independent hotel is steeped in history, inspiring the desire to contribute to its growth while preserving its heritage. We are on the brink of a historic moment…’
