Restoring the iconic façade

Over the years, Le Negresco, proud of its cultural heritage, has committed to preserving and restoring a legacy that was instrumental in Nice’s UNESCO nomination as the “Winter Resort Town of the Riviera”.

The EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company) certification confirms this dedication. The iconic façade, listed as a “Historic Monument” by the Ministry of Culture in 1975, also merits such attention.

Exterior work will begin on 2 November 2025 and will continue until April 2026. This new phase will see the return of the original statues from the 1913 façade.

Following the decision of the Architectes des Bâtiments de France, an initial phase of rehabilitation was carried out from November 2024 to April 2025, restoring the building’s façade.
